Ottawa County Republicans' Newsletter

January 29, 2026  06:3

Editor's Preamble:

Hello Ottawa County Republicans! We wish you a blessed New Year!

Here is the most important thing you need to know as an Ottawa County Republican for 2026:

May 5, 2026: Special Election.

August 4, 2026: Primary Election.

November 3, 2026: General Election.

Please take the time to log these dates in your calendar today.

Republicans: We seem to have a bit of a problem with midterms. Many of us don't always show up to vote in Midterms. ***The Democratic Party for the most part, does not have good policy ideas. They are focused on destruction and anarchy. Once in a great while they run a reasonable candidate, yet this rarely happens anymore. --For example, we would argue that John Fetterman (D), the moderate Senator from Pennsylvania is a result of the DNC not knowing how moderate he really was when he ran for office in 2022.

So, this begs the question: If this is true that Dems don't have good/healthy policy ideas, why are there still so many Democrats and RINOS in government?

Answer: A big part of the answer is that REAL Republicans don't show up to vote in Midterms and Democrats DO.

And so now, it is our civic responsibility to show up and save our state. Every conservative vote is needed. We cannot allow Minneapolis-type problems to happen here. Michigan is electing a new Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General AND a United States Senator this year, along with many key state House and Senate races.

Please join us *by saving these dates* to vote on May 5, August 4 and November 3. We cannot give Democrats another trifecta in state government.

Save the above graphic to your phone and text or email it to ten Republican friends/family members.

*PA 233 Ottawa Onslaught*

PA 233, is legislation that was passed in Lansing by the 2023 Democratically controlled Michigan Congress. PA 233 takes power away from Townships and Municipalities and gives it to the State Government to the degree, that if local citizens weren't actively fighting it by attending meetings and making their voices heard at a constant rate online, outside foreign corporations would have already bulldozed portions of Blendon Township and Zeeland Township with no regard at all for this citizens. ***This is courtesy of Whitmer's Michigan. In Ottawa County, there are currently two such initiatives and we anticipate more. The current two that are proposed in Ottawa are for a Battery storage facility in Blendon Township and now a solar farm proposed for Zeeland Township.

It is IMPERATIVE that the citizenry turn out a BIG showing at February 10's meeting in Blendon (Meeting Event event pictured above). **Crucial decisions will be made at that meeting!

February 10,  7:00 pm,  The Blendon Township Hall, 7161 72nd Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426

New CDC Stance on Vaccines isn't Anti-Science...

We appreciate this piece published in the New York Post that takes apart the arguments coming from big Pharma on the childhood vaccination schedule. It's a good one for understanding the impossible position parents have been in over the years and the shame aimed at them when they simply ask health questions.
