On December 9 at The Executive Committee Meeting, we had two candidates for Secretary of State, two for United States Senate, one for Attorney General and one for Governor! Our delegates were there for our candidate forum and asked excellent questions of the candidates. *The Precinct Delegates in Ottawa County are the most informed assets in any election cycle in Ottawa County and this is the reason why. They take their responsibility seriously! *Thank you to the candidates who attended and took our questions, including candidates for United States Senate, Bernadette Smith and Genevieve Peters Scott. We were also pleased to have two candidates for Michigan Secretary of State, Amanda Love and Anthony Forlini. We also had one candidate for Michigan Attorney General, Doug Lloyd and one Candidate for Michigan Governor, Mike Cox. The Delegates will meet for a mini endorsement convention on January 22nd, 2026 to vote for their preferred candidates in order for Ottawa to issue endorsements for the offices of Secretary of State and Attorney General. #KeepOttawaRed #MakeMichiganRedAgain
