(If you came to this link only for information regarding Zeeland Solar Farm Issue, scroll down)

PA 233, is legislation that was passed in Lansing by the 2023 Democratically controlled Michigan Congress. PA 233 takes power away from Townships and Municipalities and gives it to the State Government to the degree, that if local citizens weren't actively fighting it by attending meetings and making their voices heard at a constant rate online, outside foreign corporations would have already bulldozed portions of Blendon Township and Zeeland Township with no regard at all for this citizens. ***This is courtesy of Whitmer's Michigan. In Ottawa County, there are currently two such initiatives and we anticipate more. The current two that are proposed in Ottawa are for a Battery storage facility in Blendon Township and now a solar farm proposed for Zeeland Township.

Below are updates of what's going on in both communities and what you can do about it. The update from Zeeland Township is below followed by the Blendon update.

**FIRST: If you're here for Blendon News, mark FEBRUARY 10 on your calendar for their next public meeting. A big decision of whether or not to proceed will be made that night!**
