Editor's Preamble:

Hello Ottawa County Republicans,

In case you missed our email late last week, absentee ballots were mailed out last Thursday, September 24. It's time for us all to do what we can to win in November!

First, some Good News: *Not only has *The Detroit News *endorsed* John James, they've repudiated the Whitmer Administration's eight years, classified Benson as the "status-quo," and dismissed the 2023-2024 Democrat trifecta as a complete failure.

Yes, you read this correctly. A legacy media newspaper endorsed our candidate. (They came out with this news over one month earlier than they did in the 2022 election cycle when they barely endorsed Tudor Dixon on October 20, 2022. Clearly, they now view that as a big miss.)

In Other Good News, The Michigan Chamber of Commerce has ALSO endorsed John James, as well as countless other business organizations have throughout the state.

This is where YOU come in! We must build on this momentum and use these endorsements to build more. This Election Edition of the Newsletter is providing you with tools. --Depending on your circle of acquaintances, neighbors or areas of professional influence, save these graphics to your phone or laptop and text them to those you know post on social media. **This is how we win. *It's a turn-out election. If Republicans turnout and remind others to do the same, we flip the state.

Facts you can share with people when you share the voter guide:

Both the Detroit News and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce have endorsed John James, Mike Rogers, Terri DeBoer, Bill Huizenga and John Moolenaar.

The Michigan Chamber of Commerce has also endorsed Nancy DeBoer, Joe Moss, Brad Slagh, Greg VanWoerkom and Rachelle Smit for the Michigan House of Representatives. They have also endorsed John Wetzel, Mark Huizenga and Gina Johnsen for the State Senate.

Whichever candidate pertains to you or who you are sharing with, mentioning these endorsements helps people cut through noise on social media.

OCRP Endorses Six Candidates for Area School Boards After Rigorous Vetting Process...

If you are interested to know what other school board candidates to support in your area of the County, please send an email to [email protected] and request information. We will have a delegate who lives in your area contact you and share their local, on-the-ground thoughts on the remaining candidates, many of whom were eligible for endorsement, but did not put their names forward. The Delegates are informed; they take great interest in Ottawa County's school boards.

Get Out The Vote!

Do you know someone who hunts?

**As previously stated, this is a TURN-OUT election. Hunters often don't vote because they are gone using their firearm to hunt during the first week of November. Of all of the people who should be voting for the Party who will defend their own right to bear arms, it's hunters.

Also, we had a table at the Grand Rapids Knife and Gun Show over the weekend and the response to our being there was tremendous! *Do what you can to remind hunters to vote!

Remind people to turn their ballot over and vote for Michael Warren and Cassandra-Morse Bills for Michigan Supreme Court.

This letter was submitted to us a few days ago by EC Member and Precinct Delegate, Karsen Young. *There is something special about wisdom like this, *especially when it comes from a Young Republican.

Go to 10XVotes.com and join. The website will show you people you know and might even be related to who don't vote. Contact them and remind them to Vote. Call them. Text them our Voter Guide. Republicans leave way too many votes on the table in Midterms. *This year we can't do that. Signing up takes a few minutes. Every single delegate has the time to remind 10 low-propensity voters to vote.

Also, tell your active or concerned conservative friends that you know to also do this and share this graphic with them. Encourage them! Together we win!

Early Voting Begins October 24-Nov. 1

Please vote early if you will be out of town on Election Day. --Voting early protects your vote if there is bad weather on Election Day or if there is a power outage on Election Day. (Power outages and precinct failures have been a regular part of Arizona's elections for the past several cycles...)

ICYMIT: August Update

The month of August was BUSY! From the Primary Election to County Convention on August 13, to State Convention on August 22, followed by three local Ottawa County Events the week following, it has been a FULL month!

The Hudsonville Fair was an amazing week with visits from all of our wonderful candidates! Also, the Veterans Stand Down Fair last Friday at the Pinnacle Center and Campus Life Night at GVSU on Sunday night on August 28, we've learned the electorate is unified and fired up for the General Election!

In one week between August 24 through August 29 with all of these incredible events and the offices open too, we've distributed 2500 voter guides **already** which were just released on August 22 and it's only the beginning.
