On June 2, 2026, the Ottawa County Republican Delegation held a County Endorsement Convention. The delegation of 109 delegates in attendance unanimously passed the Convention Agenda and Rules which governs Convention. A Subcommittee was formed to vet school board candidates and present a list of recommended candidates for Endorsement to the Executive Committee at a regular EC meeting on August 20, 2026. The list was presented and unanimously passed. These six candidates were unanimously endorsed and will lead by the principles outlined in the United States Constitution along with the OCRP's championed values of protecting the innocence of children, while complying with Michigan Law. (Some candidates running for school board chose not to put themselves forward to receive an endorsement.)
