My Fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ here in Ottawa County, Michigan, and America.
--I’m writing this letter one; encourage you and two; challenge you.
Out of the 55 members who wrote the Constitution, 52 were active members of their churches. We are ‘One Nation Under God’, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all citizens.
--I want to encourage you to pray more and to pray together.
(“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20 KJV)
--I also encourage you that God does hear our prayers; He will answer them if it’s His will.
(“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 KJV)
To heal our broken land, we need to pray that more people will turn their eyes upon Jesus and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
To Make America Great Again, we must return the Bible to the center of our schools and our government. Allow God to work each of our lives.
(“if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)
We see in the Bible that before King David went into battle he prayed. Before the apostles went into the world to start the church during Pentecost they prayed. During the founding of this nation, before George Washington went into battle he prayed. Before many of the founding fathers formed the Constitution and before becoming Independent, they prayed.
--As we go into the midterm election, I challenge you to join me as I pray for the next 40 days, starting Thursday the 24th for God to heal our broken land, just like Moses, Elijah, and Jesus prayed and fasted 40 days before big events. We should do the same. Pray that Jesus will heal and save our broken Country.
So, I ask for you to join me as we fight on our knees for our country, for our future, and for future generations.
May God bless you, and may God continue to Bless America. All Glory, Honor, and Praise be to our God.
