Hello Ottawa County Republicans!  July is Veteran's month in Ottawa County! Thank you to the Ottawa County Board of Commissioners for voting unanimously in an 11-0 vote to declare it so! 

Please make sure you check out our "Area News" section to see all of the services available to Veteran's in Ottawa County. Although the rollout of many of these new programs are happening in July during Veteran's month in order to celebrate,  their services are available all year long.

We also have a special Volunteer Highlight section this month!

On June 30th, 2025, OCRP Honors Representative Rachelle Smit with Special award at downtown Holland Office...

We had a special presentation ceremony at our office in Holland on Monday morning, for Rachelle Smit - State Representative of the 43rd District, to recognize her steadfast leadership in the Michigan House of Representatives on Election Integrity issues. We must have free and fair elections in the State of Michigan; Rep. Smit along with her Subcommittee in the House has been working fervently to expose election irregularities resulting from SOS Jocelyn Benson’s office. **Thank you to our Accountability and Election Integrity SubCommittees here in Ottawa for seeking to award excellent behavior in government!

Area News

As we mentioned before, July is Veteran's Month in Ottawa County. On July 1st, Ottawa officially broke ground on the first-ever Ottawa County Veterans Service facility--a huge step forward in how Ottawa County supports its local veterans.

Here are some links demonstrating the cool activities and elements that Ottawa County is doing in July this year as we celebrate the rollout of the new facility. The best part is this facility will be open all year long to the Public.

Lastly, information on FREE Medical Transportation available to all honorably discharged veterans, spouses and surviving spouses.
