We had an amazing experience at the Jenison Memorial Day Parade the morning of Monday, May 26! We had a special float this year commemorating Decoration Day which was the original Memorial Day celebration first established on May 30, 1868. One of the most special parts of the entry were the photographs of ten Ottawa County deceased Service Members who sacrificed their all for us to have the freedoms we celebrate today. We also appreciated walking with the Ottawa County Veterans Services and loved having Ottawa County veterans who wore their uniforms march with us! Thank you to all who came and all who participated to remember and honor! Never forget!
