The OCRP Delegation Unanimously Passed a Motion to Condemn the Action of Six Republican Commissioners for Funding DEI...

We are wondering why six Ottawa County Republican Commissioners are sending your tax dollars to DEI after hundreds of corporations have listened to the President and the People! Do these local Commissioners dislike President Trump’s agenda? If so, does *their* ideology matter more than yours? Ottawa County voted 60% for President Trump and his policies of ending DEI. It seems a strange time for them to be funding it…

Not So Old News

Given that hundreds of well known corporations have cancelled their DEI initiative and programs, we take a look back at one of  Commissioner Rhodea's first public speeches from 2022. Considering President Trump's commitment to cancelling DEI, therefore reordering the procedures of many federal government agencies, we find Commissioner Rhodea's speech not-so-old news. It turns out, the vision and pioneering of cancelling DEI in Ottawa County was-grounded in integrity as America is now following suit with a shift to meritocracy.

Why did Ottawa-Impact aligned county commissioners close the DEI office on Day 1? How is this related to President Trump’s closure of DEI on Day 1? Were the same ideology and individuals at play in Ottawa County and on the national level? One hundred percent!
Ottawa Impact co-founder and current County Commissioner Sylvia Rhodea exposed the dangers of the DEI Trojan Horse during her bid for election in 2022– including the players who infiltrated both Ottawa County and the Biden Administration. Ottawa Impact was early in understanding and leading on this issue, prior to aligned commissioners entering office and taking action on Day 1.
