Meet Ben Genser! You may already recognize the name, given that Ben ran for Ottawa County Treasurer in the 2024 Republican Primary last Spring. The Republican Delegation overwhelmingly endorsed Mr. Genser as their preferred candidate for County Treasurer last May. Although Ben wasn't victorious in the Primary, he respectfully endorsed his opponent, Cheryl Clark, the very next day. He is a man of graciousness and principles. As such, the Republican Delegation learned a lot about him from supporting and watching his campaign. As a result in August of 2024, they voted him onto the OCRP Executive Committee where he received the highest amount of votes from the field of nine candidates who advanced. 

In late November of 2024, County Convention was held as is required by MCL.168.599, to elect a new Executive Committee for the new two-year cycle of 2025-2026 and again, Ben Genser received the most votes from the Delegation. As recently as February 23, 2025 at MIGOP State Convention, Ben was elected to the State Committee unanimously by Congressional District 3 to represent Ottawa County.

Ben Genser is clearly a popular delegate. Ben stands strong for the OCRP Accountability Platform, is a conscientious family member, father, husband and hard worker. We know that we are blessed to have his many talents at work for the constituents of Ottawa County who desire conservative representation and we know our ability to raise the necessary funds in order to run principled candidates in 2026 is in Ben's excellent and capable hands.
