The Ottawa County Republican Party has held six Trump Force events in Ottawa County this fall during election season. We held four seminar sessions and two action work sessions where the Trump Force staff came out to our offices and instructed over 150 volunteers on how to target low-propensity voters. According to the Trump Force, there are many Trump supporters who typically miss voting on election day, due to various Fall activities or traveling, and forget to apply for an absentee ballot.  These events have been targeted on teaching volunteers how to contact these citizens and connect them with the information they need in order to register to vote and put them in touch with their local clerk so they can vote early or apply for an absentee ballot.

As a result, we have dispersed over 4000 Trump signs here in Ottawa County! We have over 150 door-knockers for TF47! AND, in September alone, we were one of the top FIVE counties in the nation for hitting doors. Additionally, Ottawa County is in the top TWO most active counties for the Trump Force Forty-Seven in the State of Michigan.

Trump Force 47 is a national effort and campaign strategy with President Trump. The local chapter in West Michigan has been an amazing partnership for us and we are grateful for the hard work of Jesus Ortega along with the staff at the T-Force 47 West Michigan Headquarters. We continue to connect with them on strategy, volunteer advocacy, signs, stickers and overall Trump campaign support. Additionally, we had over 600 volunteer hours to support our offices in Grand Haven and Holland. Thousands of visits were recorded. People needed signs, wanted to share their stories, and also learn about how to vote.

Over the course of the two months our satellite offices were open daily, the Party raised $5000 in donations simply from the daily people who came through the doors of our offices. The community was genuinely interested and enthusiastic in helping us do whatever they could to push Trump’s election forward here in Ottawa. And so now, as we reflect and celebrate this historic election with all of you, we also want to say thank YOU for being invested in what we've been able to accomplish here together in Ottawa County!
