When we say, "First of Its Kind," we're not kidding. There isn't another County or Party in the state who has ever held an 2A Event like this. Many Republican Counties throughout the state and United States for that matter have held Clay Shoots or Skeet Shoots. Yet no one before now has held an event that offered the opportunity to have multiple experiences on a variety of firearms including pistols, rifles and AR's at a single event.

Was this a small undertaking? No, it was not! Yet, we saw the need in our communities for more citizens to become safely trained on firearms while we work to preserve the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. Education is important. Camaraderie with our fellow citizens is also important.

Therefore, we had a great day at the North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club on Saturday, October 11th! We experienced careful instruction from the Range Safety Officers, forged new relationships and celebrated older relationships too. The weather was extraordinary and also, what can we actually say about the food?! It was absolutely delicious! We had over 40 participating shooters, as well l as an additional 30 who joined us for lunch! We also had twenty volunteers from the Party who worked the event and ten Range Safety Officers who donated their time. We've included some of our favorite pics in order for you to get the idea.
